New Students:
In order to be considered for admission, new applicants must be 17 years of age or older. Proof of age such as a birth certificate, driver's license or other such document deemed acceptable by the director is required. Submission of a high school diploma, transcript or GED and Social Security Card is also required.

Transfer Students:
A student wishing to transfer to MarJon from another beauty school needs to request from the previous school that an official transcript be sent to the Admissions Office. Once received, the transcript will be evaluated. The applicant must also take a written and practical examination. A minimum of 50% of the required hours for the certificate program must be completed at MarJon. Once the transfer hours are approved by MarJon and the NY State Education Department, Proprietary Schools Unit, the applicant may register for classes.

Readmit:
A student wishing to continue their education at MarJon must apply for readmission in the Admissions Office. Students who readmit to the school must pass an evaluation, both written and practical, in order to be considered for readmission.

Other Requirements:
An application for admission must be submitted, and a non-refundable registration fee of $100.00 is required at the time of registration.
